Discoveries were made that children in the process of development undergo specific distinct phases or developmental periods. The first plane of development occurs between birth and six. At this stage, children are sensorial explorers, constructing their intellect by absorbing every aspect of their environment.

It is for this reason that the classroom is a prepared environment enabling the child to freely choose their purposeful work. Through this work, the child develops concentration and self-descipline. Within the framework of order, children construct themselves at their own pace according to their capabilities.

Stouffville Montessori school is located on a half acre of land on Ninth Line just South of Hoover Park Drive.

HOURS OF OPERATION:
Full Day Program:  8:30am - 3:30pm
Half Day Program: 8:30am - 11:30am, 12:30pm - 3:30pm

Before and after school care is available.

September to June - Regular classes
July and August - Summer classes
